Jason Comander, MD, PhD Massachusetts Eye and Ear
At the age of 17, Dr. Comander made his first presentation at a national ophthalmology research conference. He later earned both his MD and PhD at
Harvard Medical School, where he also completed his ophthalmology residency. Following that, he completed a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, and acquired additional
training in inherited retinal degenerations and electroretinography.

Dr. Horowitz has treated over 12,000 chronic Lyme disease patients in the last 20 years, and has researched and published on the role of
